I only used this in the first 6-8 weeks and then started to NIP without it, and Ive now mastered the discrete thing so selling my cover. It was a life saver at first, I never fed my eldest and was sooooooooooooo scared about feeding outside the house at first, but it really gave me the confidence I didnt have and meant I could go about my usual routine and not worry at all about having to find somewhere to feed. It has an open top so you can watch LO feed, and maintain eye contact throughout. Its so lightweight and folds up tiny in the baby's bag so no hassles at all. It is the 'hot dots' design.
