best breast pads?

Anyone know what the best breast pads are to buy? I've been using tescos own brand ones but I'm finding I'm changing them a lot and still getting wet through, especially when I'm feeding/expressing from the other breast. yes they are cheap but I dont really need all the extra washing so does anyone know which are best?

Johnsons have been the best ones for me so far. They stick well, they're thick and absorbant and they're comfy. I've not had any leaking problems with them.

There was a thread on here the other day where someone reviewed a load of different ones but can't remember who started it.

I agree, Johnsons are by far the best for me as they are so comfy and have a realyu nice shape to them. Thick as well. I find others really itchy!! Only problem I have found is that not many places stock them where I live, only the massive boots.

johnson's are pretty good, but the best for me by far are tommee tippee and lansinoh - they are really wide and don't move around much in the bra. had no leaks with any of them. don't bother with supermarket own brands, i found them all useless

btw, at the start I had to double up with the breast pads as I was leaking so much, and also change them after every feed

I like Johnsons too - just thought Id ask on here - does anyone find its really obvious you are wearing them? I find the edges show through and you can just tell so I wear jumpers ..... do they do padded nursing bra's to hide this?

i made mine. they last all day and i never felt wet. they dont slide about and best off all once past the initial outlay cost nothing.

I used to use tommee tippee ones, and thought they were really good. But I'm a recent convert to the lansinoh ones, they have a better shape and don't scrunch up in my bra. They are a bit pricy but they are half price in Sainsbury's at the moment, I got 2 boxes yesterday

Johnsons I like because they are quite thick and also therefore give me the padding which makes a sore nipple bearable!

I had to buy boots own brand slim ones coz i was desperate and it was all they had in the shop but they've been brilliant, better than johnsons because you literally cant see them under your clothes and i havent had one leakage yet which i did with johnsons..xx
