Jaden has a stinking cold with lots of mucus on his chest. And slight temp.

I have the smelly thing (vicks plug in thing) running in his room and baby vicks on his chest. I have given him calpol but i dont think that is helping. Whats the best thing to give him?

thank you

Sam x

aaaahh bless him, my LO too has a cold which I think I have caught, I have been giving Baby Meltus for his cough which seems to help, I have given up on the plug in thing as I am convinced this adds to his coughing so as sticking to Calpol and Vapour rub, no much help but I am not sure what else you can give. Hope he is feeling better soon.x

Hi hun. I think calpol doing a medicine called Calcold to help with mucus on the chest and other cold symptoms. Sure i have seen it in boots. Hope he feels better soon xx

Give him nurofen if calpol isnt working. Its an ibuprofen and calpol is a paracetamol. Hope he gets better soon!

Sit in the bathroom with the shower running, the steam is the best thing to clear it.

Yeah you can give him calpol and nurofen together bless him. Not much you can do for a cold really cept give him loads of hugs and keep his fluid intake up.

Its all the mucus that im worried about he keeps on choking on it and everything he eats is making him sick. :-(

I give calpol for a temp but apart from that I just let it run it's course :-( Hope he feels better soon x
