Hi ladies, I want to go and be measured for a nursing bra today, I'm just wondering where's best to go?

I'm not too worried about the price of the bra, I'll probably only buy one today and then when I know my size I'll get one or two off ebay

My MW said somewhere where old ladies work is ideal - like Harwayes if you have them. Or Debenhams or John Lewis, somewhere they have playtex nursing bras. She says they're firmer and a lot better xx (not marks and spencer or mothercare by the way!)

Iv heard m&s is good, I won't be going back to mother care as I was measured wrong for maternity bras there, they said at 20 weeks had gone from a 34d to a 40e! When I was measured for my nb at my surestart centre she was appalled as I'm actually only a 36dd! And that's now at 39 weeks so I. Been wearing the wrong size bra for the last 19 weeks. NOT impressed!xx

Thanks ladies, I think I'll try Debenhams :)

I went to mothercare as we only have there and m&s that measure where i live. that was about y wks pregnant. i have recently measured myself. lol. xx

I tried in M&S once but had to make an appointment!!! Who has time to hang around for an hour until they can fit you in???

I was gonna say M+S. Got measured there at 10 weeks pregnant (yes, I had to make an appointment!) and have kept meaning to go back and be re-measured ever since, just havent got round to it. May go next week sometime.
The lady was good and thorough, and the bra she recommended was perfect for me.
Good luck

Ive never been measured before lol so really planning on getting round to it before buying nursing bras. my boobs are really small though so ive always been quite embarrased lol what exactly do the do, do they just measure on top of your clothes or what?

I got measured at a mothercare when i was pregnant with my first and they were fine ^.^
Haven't bothered this time as of yet, i've still got my maternity bra's from before and they feel fine enough, but i do need to get some nursing bra's so i'll be going back to mothercare again as i had a good experience with them

When I went to get measured the lady took me into the changing rooms and asked me to take my top off but leave my bra on and tell her when I was ready, then she came in and measured me over my bra and went out to bring me a selection of bras in to try on. I was really worried about going to get it done as I was thinking I was going to be standing in there naked from the waist up, but don't worry you wont be. xxx

I got one from Debenhams

The size I was wearing was far too small, which I knew. Even though it's a nursing bra I'm already wearing it as it's so comfy! Now I know my size I'll see what I can find on ebay too.

Thanks for all of your replies :)

Not m and s. They measured me completely wrong both times. x
