Best Santas Grotto ~ Uk?

Hi Girls...

I would like to take my DS2 to a really good Santas Grotto this year

I wanted to go to 'Lapland Uk' but they only have December dates & as this LO is being born/due early December, its not ideal

So, has anyone been to a really good grotto, that they could recommend?

you can go on a santa express train which is FAB- done at nene valley railway. you get drink and snack, kids get a pressie and a visit from santa on the train. mums and dads can have an alcoholic drink and mince pie too.

We are off to the one at Chester zoo i think, not sure on dates, i have a poster somewhere i will have a look and see xx

we have started a new tradition in our family- a mum and daughter wekend away!!! my mum took me and my 2 yr old to milton keynes shopping centre last year, stayed at a travel lodge for £20.00 and had a fab time! the grotto was amazing, not too long to queue although at busier times you can book in advance. the father christmas was ace althoguh my DD was terrified! plus we got to do some christmas shopping too! gonna do this every year now, i think mums booked a tracel lodge in/near birmingham although i don't know if the grotto there's any good or not. good luck with your hunting!
