BF, BLW and bottles

How do you wean a BF baby?
We will do BLW but don't know when/how to start
When do I need to drop feeds and will LO need to be bottle fed formula?

I'm confused

Your LO doesnt need to have any formula ever if you dont want them to.

6 months is the recommended age for weaning, although we started at 5 months (BLW)

once you are weaning your LO will drop the milk feeds when their ready

Does breastmilk still have all the vitamins and antibodies after 6 months?

Breast milk or formula should be used for the first 12 months. I'm not to up on the detail but yes breastmilk is still beneficial after 6 months. Try having a read on the kellys mom website.

Breast milk has everything they need until 6 months but after that your iron will be running low so they need food but still need breast milk.

BF is beneficial at any age
