I always told myself I would post a success story if I got one!
I got a surprise BFP a few days ago after 2 years and 8 months of unexplained infertility.
DH and I tried everything, just shy of IVF. We did medicated cycles, IUIs, herbs, naturopathy, lifestyle changes. Everything I could think of. We never had a pregnancy.
8 months ago I decided I couldn't do this anymore. So we quit ttc and decided we would live childfree. I took up an intense exercise program and completely over hauled my diet. I lost a lot of weight and put on a lot of muscle. I had very clearly defined abs after a couple months of this program! After that I continued to exercise and eat healthy, but I toned it down a little. A couple days ago I got my first ever positive, and I cannot even believe it!
So for those with unexplained infertility, it can happen, even years down the line, even if you've never had a pregnancy before, and it can even happen without treatment. You just never know.
