I really hope you can help me clear up my thoughts as this is driving me a little crazy!

I started POAS 6dp5dt and I got a faint positive using a Predictor Early test but it didn't show up straight away - took around 15-20 mins I know it says on the box that you shouldn't read it after a certain amount of time but just confused why the line would come up at all if it is a negative - the line was pink and got gradually darker as the day went on.

This has happened to me on 7dp and 8dp and now I am so confused? All the lines look gradually darker than the day before but that has taken a while to show up and then they have got darker within about an hour of testing - do I take these serious or could they all be evap lines? I also tried a Asda's own HPT this morning and that did the same 15 mins and then I had a faint positive line :(

Please help me xxxx thank you xxxx

I think they're bfps hun, ive read that the asda tests have a habit of taking a while. And speaking from experience, I took 2 asda tests just the other day and didnt get a hint of a line, no evap, nothing! So id say u can trust it ;)

To put ur mind at ease, buy a frer x

Yea I agree with pp go get a frer you are probably pregnant. Keep us updated! Good luck!

i think if they are definitely pink a line is a line! FC xx

thank you i really hope this is our time we want it so much xx ill keep you posted xx

Did the line stay?

I find if you read a test between 10mins and 30 mins there's a good chance that it will look positive for a bit as the lines dry and the test area dries. If its still there when its dried and it has colour there's a good chance it will be caused by hCG and be proper positive tomorrow or the day after.

yes all the lines are still there even the one from a couple of days ago xx

Please try a frer or another brand of test . Predictor tests are evil they give pink evaps even within time limit and they stay just like a normal bfp would I've had my heartbroken with those tests and so has a lot of people . I really hope it is your bfp but please retry with another test.

The OP did...she used an asda test ;)

Just a quick update - So i did a Sainsburys HPT and Predictor Early HPT as that's all I had left and the Sainsburys one came up with a faint positive within a couple of mins and the Predictor did the same as last time about 15-20 mins until the pink line came up xxx any thoughts? xx

Also sorry if TMI but had some greeny coloured CM yesterday which I haven't had before and a bit of cramping oh ye and my boobies are still really sore xx

I know that the higher the hCG levels the quicker you see the positive. My early BFP's have had me about to get out of the shower before the line shows (I pee, shower and check test when I'm showering. The day before I got BFP with DS I dropped test in the shower cos I thought I saw something!!!). Where-as later BFP's have appeared almost as soon as I've dipped the stick.

It sounds like the Sainsbury one is a proper positive!! Do you have a pic? Do you know what the different sensitivities are of the tests? Maybe that has something to do with it.

I think the Sainsburys one is 15 or over xx I'll try post a pic haven't done it before though so might not work lol xxx

Just done a Asda and FRER with no hold wee and both came out positive - line isn't as dark as control line but definitely there! xxx I'll post pics of these if i can
