big babies

Hi my first son was 9.2 22.5 inches born at 40 weeks, 2nd son was 8.9 21.5 inches induced at 37 weeks due to spd and his size. If I had went full term with him they said he would have been over 11lbs.

My first was 10lbs 11oz at 39+5 weeks normal ish delivery(forcepts)
my second was 8lbs 11 oz at 36+3 weeks very easy delivery
They were both born on 100% ile so the same effective weight
my third was 9lbs 3 oz at 39 +3 thats the 94th %ile so was smaller

my baby i'm carrying now was estimated at 7lbs 10 oz at 35+2 so expecting around 9.5-10lb baby
i will prob be induced at 38-39 weeks just in case though!!

This post made me feel much better. I'm 35 weeks and 7+lbs (91%tile). We're being sent for more scans and our doc would like to see this baby born in the 36th week. I've been doing lots of reading up on macrosomia (big baby syndrome) and I'd very much like to go at least to week 38 granted my new scans don't show her with a big weight gain.

My first was 9lb 3ozs born at 40+1
my 2nd was 10lb 4ozs born at 41

this bubba was measuring smaller but just been told I've got gd and measuring 2 wks ahead got a growth scan at 36wks so will have more an idea of weight then it's strange tho as this one feels smaller and bumps smaller.
Looks like I'm heading for c sec at 38 wks coz of other probs too
