Big uterus..?!

Just got back from my first OB appointment, and he said my uterus was bigger than expected for someone at 6+ weeks (might explain the tight pants!) He thinks I'm either really 10 weeks or have a fibroid, so I'm getting booked for an ultrasound. He couldn't hear a heartbeat on the doppler and said that even for 10 weeks that's normal.

Has anyone been told the same thing...and what was the end result? Anyone had fibroids in their pregnancy?

When do you go for your scan Lauren? Not heard of that before but i have a friend who's pregnant who has a fibroid and she's fine, says its a little painful now she's further on in the pregnancy but its not causing any problems with development of baby. Hugs xx

I guess I won't find out when my scan is until the day before the appointment!! Let's just hope I'm in town He's calling it an "emergency" scan...so hopefully it will be soon!
