birth control?

My OH is desperate for me to get on some form of birth control (he hates condoms) but I am incredibly nervous that it is going to mess with my supply!! He got angry and said I think breastfeeding is more important than our relationship..and honestly right now it is (he's kind of a horrible person)

My point is what do all of you use and did you notice a change at all?

Lol does he not realize that your breast milk is feeding your baby and keeping him/her alive and yes there's formula but breast milk is what's best.......men sometimes don't think about things all the way through. I'm in the same situation except I'm desperate for birth control I don't want to accidentally get pregnant I would rather all my babies be planned and expected so I plan on getting the paraguard (copper coils) it doesn't have any hormones so it won't mess with breast feeding and right now it's the most affective form of birthcontrol and it's a ten year plan. Of course it comes with side affects and risks like everything in life but all the risk percentages are low and the side affects are well worth not having an oops moment.

My midwife prescribed the mini pill and I've been on it for three weeks with no problems

Cerrazette is what I'm on. Progesterone only pill. Had no issues with supply..xx

I'm also on mini pill and I'm convinced that it has messed with my supply! Although health visiter says it couldn't have! I was prescribed it by my gp at our 8 week check since then (6 weeks) my baby has dropped from the 50th centile to I between the 25th and 9th. He hasn't lost any weight, but has only gained 9oz. I stopped taking it a week ago, and my boobs have started leaking Again! I had a bit of an over supply before and baby would quiet often choke when feeding he did that again today after not having done it for ages! Am going o get him weighed again Tuesday, see if he has gained any better since stopping it. If Its not made any difference il let you know as that means it probably isn't the pill. But if he is gaining better since having stopped it then I am going to get the copper coil fitted. Didn't really want to as last time I had it. It made my periods really heavy and painful!
