I have put together a Birth Plan, and as far as I can tell, I have covered everything.

Well there is the fact I have not mentioned anything about like wanting to play music of my own, and wearing my own clothing. But I am not sure it really needs to go in there.

Did I forget anything? Should I add something. I mean I know these are my own preferences and such, but perhaps I overlooked something that should be listed.

My Birth Plan
We are Elizabeth and Peter Maassen
With us is our daughter Athiliya Maassen
My Doctor is Sharon Cathcart
My Doula is KC Crane
My Due Date is December 25th 2015
Baby will be Moira Evelynn Maassen

My goal is to have an unmedicated VBAC delivery.

Labor:
I would like intermediate external monitoring of baby.
I would like not to be placed on IV unless absolutely necessary.
I would like to be able to walk around and move freely.
I would like to drink and lightly snack through out labor.
I would like for Hospital staff to remain down to my doctor and nurses.
I would like to tend to and breastfeed my daughter normally.
I would like as few vaginal exams as possible

Pain Relief:
I do not want an epidural.
I would like to use the tub and shower.
My doula will use massage.

Cesarean:
If a cesarean becomes necessary. I would like for my doula to accompany me to the OR, whilst my husband remains behind with our daughter. I want for my doula to take photos of baby as soon as she is delivered in the OR.
Delivery:
I would like to be able to move into positions like kneeling/laying on my side/ etc if I choose to.
I do not want an episiotomy, unless absolutely necessary, and after trying a warm compress.
I would like for my husband to cut the cord.

After Delivery:
I would like to hold baby as soon as possible.
I would like to breastfeed as soon as possible.

Baby:
If baby needs to be brought to NICU, I want my husband to accompany her.
I want all exams, testing, etc to go as normally performed.
Baby is to be breastfed only.

What about delayed cord cutting? Whether you want the injection to get the placenta out?
Other then that looks like a pretty normal birth list to me!
Things like epidural (I don't want one either, or forceps) I put unless medically necessary because things don't always go to plan!

How about whether you would like baby to have a vit k injection or whether you would like baby to have the drops. Other than that seems all good 😃

Thanks ladies. I knew I was over looking something.
