Birth pool out of stock, help!

Where did you ladies order your birth pools from?
I wanted the birth pool n a box mini Eco, but the website says out if stock until march!!! I've emailed to see if they know any supliers that still have some, but getting edgy as I'm due in 18 days!

Other wise I might go with the la bassine one. Anyone used this, was it ok?

P.s I'd like to buy brand new so everything is included, I'm not mobile enough to be doing a lot of cleaning or shopping for hose pipes in b+q!

MMum loved her La Bassine one (think I've got the brand right?!), and uses it with her Doula service. So it must be good.

I got my Birth pool in a box regular from e-bay - but as you say you don't want to clean and go and buy bits from b&q, I can see it's not for you.

Have you tried some of the hiring sites, thought about a regular size, rather than mini, mothercare were also selling BPIBox, or the ones below?

Who are you getting the BPIAB from - The Good Birth Company arent usually out of stock as main distributors.

I do use La Bassine and I wouldnt use anything else. I know it, trust it and it is easy to work with. My clients use mine for free

Just had a response from Jane at the good birth company
' I am sorry but none of our suppliers will have any stock of the mini pool*because they usually ask us to dropship for them if they take an order for a pool. As you probably already know the regular pool*measures 193 cm x 165 cm. Please let me know if you think it might fit.'

Looked at hire options but they are only slightly cheaper than buying, so I think I'll go with the la bassine one. Thanks to both for your help

La Bassine and the mini are very similar in size. i whole heartedly recommend x
