Anyone else been or going there? Doing MW led, but just a little worried incase I need an epidural as you have to go to theatre. Had the antenatal class yesterday and it was all explained to us, but I am just a little worried now.

But the rest of the class was fine and I found out that a neighbour is due 7 days after me! Might go and have a chat with her.

Fab, she seemed really nice xx

I'll be moving to Ipswich so i'll be going there hopefully :)
My OH works in the hospital so i believe him when he's commented that all the staff are great and do take really good care of you etc :)

I'll be signing papers for the new house on wednesday :happydance:
then slowly moving stuff there as I'm in witham at the moment and i should be there properly by the end of the month :D xx

Good luck with the move - we moved when I was 19 weeks, and it really took it out of me. Take it easy xx

I live in Ipswich too, haven't had the antenatal class yet though. I don't get mine til 36 weeks so thanks for posting this as I will be on the mw led ward too, didnt realise they have to move you up if you want an epidural.

I did the full day antenatal class in Hadleigh and have the breastfeeding class at the start of October. The two ladies who did the class were really lovely and put my mind at rest about a lot of things. Just I then started thinking about the epi (if I should need it) and got scared again! DH said that the only reason that they move you is because if you then do need a c-section you are in the right place, rather than them have to move you from Brook ward to the central labour place for the epi and then move you again for a c-section. So glad that he was listening xx

Ah that makes sense, thanks. I am looking forward to the class now, I wasn't sure whether it would be useful or not. :flower:
