Sequeena, is Cassie blind in one eye? My Nana had a cat with one blue eye who was blind in that eye :flower:

They are all gorgeous. I love Sky :cloud9:

I have a pomeranian and a fat cat!
Edit: The pom's name is Hershey, and the cat is Captain Meowington. (We just call him The Captain).

Thank you hun! X Actually, Cassie isn't blind or deaf (they have a tendancy to be deaf on the blue side too apparently). She is a very special cat :cloud9: and looks pathetic right now in her buster collar :haha:

:haha: She is lovely. I'm glad she's not affected hun! White cats are very susceptible to illness aren't they. All of my Nana's white cats what have some problem or another :(

Yes they are but fingers crossed she's been fine so far though she is only 9 months :dohh: she's a completely indoor cat though so hoping that will prevent a lot of illnesses x

:) My cat is a house cat too. My Nana has had a lot of cats whilst I was growing up, the majority have reached an untimely end by being hit by cars, some poisoned. It makes me sad to think that these things happen all the time and I can't bear the thought of my Boo having a similar fate :(

That's exactly why mine are indoors now (though the boys are doing my nut in and have contemplated chucking them out for some peace LOL). I lost a lot of cats to the road when I was younger and one family cat was mauled by foxes, they ripped his head clean off  so nope, it's not worth it imo! I'm hoping to build an outdoor enclosure (or rather my OH lol) so they can go out but be safe at the same time.

Yep once we are moved into a council place (we need adaptations etc for tegan) we will be building some form of enclosure for Boo to go in :D I am just not willing to put her in danger!!

Some people would call us crazy you know

You can cat proof your garden too, an old neighbour did this as she had 2 siamese cats.

https://www.westrikatt.co.uk/images/Cat%20Proofing.jpg

I can't do this though because one side of my garden is hedge :(

Yeah I saw someone where I used to live had done that!! boo would love it. Would it stop other cats getting in? She is a wuss and I'll scared she'll get "beaten up"

She is spayed, has been since she was 5mos old. She's sleeping somewhere in the house right now. Since Tegan came along she keeps more family friendly hours bless her - before she was up all hours of the night! Now she gets up when we do and sleeps whilst tegan is in bed :cloud9:

It should to, I don't think they could walk over the tops of the wires x

Aw it's so lovely to see pets with kids, I can't wait for my lot to see Thomas!

LOVE this thread!

I torture him a bit... :haha:

I had this problem growing up as well, but it was with our dogs AND cats. Our Ripsie is a house kitty. She is completely declawed, although we did not do this--her previous owner did. I can't say I mind it though as we don't have to worry about the furniture & such. She is lovely & fiesty & tbh I think she thinks she's a DOG! She fetchs! :haha: I heard on the news a few months back about a cat being covered in accelerant & then set on fire...they had to put the poor thing to sleep after they put the fire out b/c the burns were so bad & it was in so much pain:cry::cry:It broke my heart & I bawled my eyes out. Ripsie was actually curled up in lap sleeping at the time & I just squeezed her tight, not being able to imagine the terrible loss I would feel if something were to happen to her:cry:

we have 4 dogs and 2 cats.
