I want a black Christmas tree :dohh: It'd just look better in my living room. But it feels wrong?

My mate had a black tree, it had little gold sparkly tinsel bits on the branches too and looks gorgeous when she dressed it in red and gold with white lights :) She also had a cream tree that she dressed in green and gold which looked equally gorgeous.... Go for it :) xXx

Our living room is black and red, so I'm thinking black tree with red decs and some plain white lights?

Oooooh I'm getting excited  First ever Christmas not living with my mum

I'm sure it will look lovely :) I do like 'traditional' trees but I also like something a bit different.... I got the dec's for work once and got a white tree with royal blue and sliver baubles/tinsel.... I worked in abingo hall so lotsa oldies, yet they all said how nice it was even thought they would never have thought of doing it themselves before seeing it :)
Hope you all have a fab xmas in ur new house :happydance:
xXx

ifits what you want then get it, regardless of what anyone else says.

I only personally like green so black is way out there for me  I can see it looking really pretty tho x

I am in the same boat as you, a black or white christmas tree would look much better in my house but I'm just not sure I can actually bring myself to do it, lol. Enjoy your first christmas in your new home :) xx

Ive seem some real gorg black ones , and itll look amazing if it goes with your lounge room! Thats the key , fit around your style of lounge! The traditional may not look so good if you went for that!

Piccies are a must once all done! My friend has a white tree , and covers it in purples and light blues! It really looks lovely xx

i'd love a black tree but my OH is Scrooge so just getting a green tree was a big deal :haha:
you'll have to put up ics once its decorated x

If you do it right with silver decs, or gold it will look fantastic,. Clear lights also.

Ohhhhh noooooo to me a Christmas should be green, you wouldnt see a real black, white, purple whatever colour tree, a real tree is green :) But thats only my opinion. :)

It's all decoration though isn't it. If it's fake then it isn't because they need to be brought inside to be kept alive, it's just for decoration?

I think some of them trees that arnt green look nice to be honest. I seen white trees look cool and black ones. Even pink ones and I am not a pink person. I have a massive green one though but wanted it to be black.

I have had a black christmas tree for the past couple of years... looked amazing with lots of silver decorations on it... And Next do a great range of black christmasy decorations! We have a stunning black mantlepiece decoration with fairy lights.

we're changing to lots of golds and bronzes this year as we have moved to a new house, where the black won't work so well!!

enjoy your first christmas in you own home!! :happydance:

True. I just prefer green trees, they are more christmassy to me :) . I am sure it will look fab when you have it all done, make sure you post some pics, you never know you might change my mind. :)

I had a pink tree once! i loved it, i would most definatly go for black if it was fitting.
I have a bog standered green one, but then my living room is beige and greeny!!
