Black stool after c section

I had A c section 5 days ago - today I have black loose stool is this normal?

Have you been on iron tablets at all chick?

Or had an iron or blood transfusion?

Perfectly normal, your body doesn't absorb all the iron out of iron tabs. Remmeber to take them with orange juice or other drink high in vitamin C, helps the iron absorption....and avoid taking with tea or milk, inhibits absorption, congratulations on new baby x
