bleeding again 4 weeks after giving birth

Hi all

So last week my bleeding seemed to reduce and changed to a brown/yellow type discharge.

Well yesterday and today it's bright red again, a couple of really small clot like lumps.

Have you experienced anything like this? Is it normal?

Lochia (sp) can stop and start so it's normal

Sounds like period to me. With my first child I stopped bleeding and then 6 days later got my period.

I had this! Only it progressed to gushing out with large clots. I ended up in the er for a secondary hemorrhage. I had a d&c for retained placenta that was attached to my uterine wall. Please get checked!
