bleeding at 11 days

Hi all, i am still bleeding heavily at 11 days post partum. Is this normal?

I have had a lot of bad period pains all morning & pressure down below. I had Isla 11 days ago she was only 7lbs 8 but it was very very quick ( less than an hour) i felt amazing after the birth. No tears or anything ( had a bad labour with DS)

So i have been out an about a lot going to food festivals etc & now im worried i have done too much? is this possible? x

I bled at various heaviness for six weeks honey. I think you're probably fine but you know your body best and if you think something is wrong call your labour ward or go and see your gp. Xx

my lo is 2 weeks 4 days and im still bleeding on and off at various heaviness! hope it stops soon! x

Re length of time bleeding, I'd say this was completely normal. Just keep doing your pelvic floor exercises and this should ease the pressure/heavyness you are feeling. xx

I don't know what's 'normal' but I bled for more than 4 weeks ... now at 5w 2d it seems to be starting up again!

Could be your period hun!

I bled for about 4/5ish weeks. Then it stopped completely.
Then I got my period at 6 weeks..

You do need to take it easy. I did too much in the few days after having Jake and my bleeding would get a lot worse and I would feel so sore down below. When I slowed down a bit it felt a lot better. Seriously do the pelvic floor exercises though!
Worked wonders for me !xx

My lo is 4 weeks 2mor and i have only just finished bleeding!! i found doing too much or breastfeeding caused it to come on heavier, but im sure its totally normal!! x

after i had my baby after a week it slowed right down then suddenly got heavy again, my MW said it was my bodys way of saying slow down, so my advice is to rest, other than looking after your baby everything can wait! Xxx

I bled for 3 and a half weeks PP & then had my period at 6 and a half weeks PP

yeah I would say so I bled for 6 weeks as well

This post has made me feel better as I am still bleeding at nearly three weeks and was starting to worry about it. Now I know it is normal I can relax! Thanks ladies!!
