Hi ladies,

Just wanted to offer those ladies who have had bleeding some hope.

I found out I was pregnant on the 21st Dec, by Dec 23rd I started spotting when my AF was due, which soon turned into a 5 day bleed on/off but bright red and enough to fill a pad with clots. We went to the GP who said to just wait it out and test in a few weeks. Well a week later I tested and still a blazing +.

We worried all the way up to the scan which we had the other day but our bubs is fine and they can't find any reason for the bleed!

:hugs: Hope this just helps someone out there, as I know I was googling like a crazy woman looking for stories

I also bled on Monday, 2 days after my scan. Not as bad as you though.

Had another scan today and baby is fine :D

I had bleeding in the first trimester too and with my history I thought for sure it was bad news. Everything was ok though and now I am about to go into the third trimester. This is a great thread! I know how worrisome first tri is.

Thanks ladies for sharing your stories, I know it can be so scary but my doctor said its more common than people think and actually a lot of the time things turn out ok

Thanks for posting! Monday, when I was 6 weeks and 1 day, I had two instances where I went to the restroom and there was bright red streaks in my cm. Nothing since, until today, 6 weeks and 4 days, and there it was again, only twice this time too. Had my hcg taken on 6.1 and it was 48,000. Yesterday, 6.3 it was 70,000. Tomorrow I go back since I spotted again, and getting my progesterone and my hcg taken. Is this anything I should worry about? I didn't spot at all in my last pregnancy.. I have wanted this baby for years, and I would be devastated if I lost it. My husband would be too. Any advice?
