I did mine as I have a monitor and it was 136/60 is this high?

At home monitors arent as accurate..
The bottom number is the important one and 60 is low actually xx

Top over 140 is high

Bottom over 80 is

They say normal is 120/80, though this article would put you as Pre-Hypertension (they meant 120-139 bp systolic).

That said, I had a bp of 150/65 at my last OBGYN appointment with a family history of hypertension and she said they'd just keep an eye on it and see if it settles down at all. The bottom number of both of ours is fine, it's the top number that's high. The top number however is associated with "White Coat Syndrome", which is another way of saying the number spikes when you're nervous. It's possible you were just a bit anxious when you took your BP.

My last pregnancy my blood pressure hovered around 145/90 and still, no one did anything about it except monitor it.

During labour it went up to 160/100 and that's when they finally interfered and did something.

The lower number should definitely be below 90.

My doctor went mad and said mine is really high. Never had it high before

Hi Thank you for all the feedback :hugs: Feeling alot better xx
