Blood Pressure worry's ??

Went to see my midwife at the hospital this morning and the nurse took my blood pressure it was 138/70 she said it was high ,i checked with my midwife afterwards and she said not to worry but i cant stop thinking bout it now

I owuldnt worry too much, she will just keep an eye on it. Mine it 160/80 which is very high, but they just keep an eye on you more. x

130/80 is the target that GPs aim for to be 'perfect' so your figures don't look high to me.

Don't worry about it too much but if you did want some peace of mind you can either get a digital home monitor to keep tabs for less than £20 or pop into your chemist - I know Lloyds have them - and get them to have a quick check every now and then. x

It is the second number they are concerned about and 70 is fine x
