bloodshot eye =0S

The other day I noticed that my LO's right eye was quite bloodshot in the outer corner. I'd been told that he may have got it while straining for a poo so decided to see if it would go down after a few days.

Since then he keeps rubbing his eyes (paying more attention to the right eye) which makes his whole eye area red and sometimes his eye is bloodshot all over (when he's just woke up n is rubbing his eyes) at other times however it isn't bloodshot or red.

Is it worth a trip to see the Dr or am I just being an over-worrier????

My lo gets bloodshot eyes when tired. if its funky or anything coming from or lo as a temperature i would see doc if none of those i wouldn't think it was anything to worry about. maybe ask ur hv?

As weird as this is going to sound - it was his teeth

It got worse a couple of nights after I posted this and then as soon as his tooth cut through the gum his eyes went down

He is now cutting another tooth and thankfully his eyes are not bloodshot at all but he's pulling at his ear and being miserable (which although annoying I know is classic symptoms of teething) x
