Apparently asking this guy to stay another week to full term is asking too much. Woke up this morning to a bloody mess, and the show is still going a few hours later.

If this is anything like last time, I'll get to met DS2 later today.

So much for going to my cousin's baby shower today! :dohh:

Oooh good luck,keep us updated.x

Nothing but show all day yesterday. Went to bed last night, woke up with no blood. But since waking up and eating, I've gone back to the bathroom and the bloody show has started again.

We'll see if anything happens today.

No two pregnancies are alike - with DS1, I had a little show at 2am and he was born by 11am. With this guy, the show started yesterday morning and we're getting nothing else so far. No contractions yet. He's still hanging out low - Mom said I definitely looked like I had dropped with DS2 yesterday when she picked up DS1, and I feel like he's still dropped based on his movements.

Yay for the "hurry up and wait" game.

Good luck!

I had a tiny bit of plug yesterday but nothing since :( I am very very low and walk like I've weed myself

It's true, every pregnancy and labour is different. I woke up to show at 39w5d with my daughter at 7:30am one morning and she was born at 5:25pm that day.

I never lost my plug with my son, who was born at 38w2d. He swallowed it on the way out because he was too impatient to wait for real food.

I called in to the on-call OB to see what they recommend. Thankfully she got back to me quickly.

She mentioned that it isn't normal for bloody show to go 2 days like I'm seeing, but LO is probably low enough and pushing on the cervix, causing the show. She also mentioned that I may be having contractions and not feeling them, which is both reassuring and nerve-wracking. As long as the blood amount or color doesn't change (amongst other things) and as long as LO is still active, I'm fine for staying home and resting. The on-call OB also mentioned not to panic and that if LO decides to come now that he'll probably be fine, even if he's technically not considered full term until Wednesday.

DH and I took a few maternity pics, and now I'm home and officially resting. DH is going to tell work that he's working from home this week, just in case things decide to progress on their own rather than slow down.

Day 3 of bloody show appearing. It isn't a constant flow, thankfully. But it's still coming in clumps here and there. 2 more days until full term, so I'm trying hard to rest and relax to keep DS2 in there.

To add to it, our hot water tank broke this morning. DH is having fun with "____ water ___ broke" as part of his out-of-office message this morning. :haha: :dohh:

Now we're just hoping my water doesn't break just yet.

And thankfully, DS2 is go-go-go still. No odd change in movements. 2nd day in a row of getting hiccups - which is huge since he hadn't really been practicing up until this point. So I'm trying to stay optimistic.

While the bloody show appears to have stopped, DS2 appears to have dropped further. And still no contractions.

How low can he go?!?

A little over a day and change to go until full term...

Still no contractions when I woke up. But 6am, I woke up to broken water! Looks like I'm getting induced due to waters breaking. So he'll be here today!

Exciting! Hope all goes well! Glad he hung in there!

The "this is it" thread will be posted eventually. Owen came yesterday at 37 weeks, measuring 5lb 10oz and 19.75". Looking forward to getting home tomorrow!

Congratulations :)
Me you and Hannah were all due the same day!

I've posted the This is it! thread. Thanks, ladies!
