Blue Dye Test

I tested early (5 days) because I had gained weight quickly and have been extremely tired. I used the Kroger brand that was most similar to First Response, but had blue dye. Both tests looked to be positive. I followed up with a FRER last night, and saw a FAINT line, but did not look like there was the correct amount of space between that and the control line. I took another one this morning, but did not have enough urine to pee for 5 seconds, and it showed nothing. Should I have my hopes up, or is it very common for a false positive to happen? I have not been able to find any recent articles on false positives with blue dye tests.

Blue dyes tend to give nasty evaps. I've also read the new FRERs with the curved handles can give false positives.
