(BLW) is she ready

im not sur if my lo is ready or not i gave her som banana and she really tried to eat it but it was so slimey she could not keep hold of it but she did enjoy it i just dont know what to do now or if there is any thing else i could try her with xx

try something easier for her to pick up like a stem of brocolli. If she can pick it up herself, put it in her mouth and chew then id say she was ready x

There are more things to look out for to see if she is ready, can she sit up unaided? for me this was the most important factor. Has she shown interest in your food, stolen it from your plate etc? You could try her with something a bit easier to grasp - perhaps some cooked brocolli and see how she gets on. If you keep offering then even if she just plays with teh food she is still learning and will pick up the skills really quickly, practice makes perfect after all!

thankyou she in very interested in every thing im eating but she can not sit by her self yet but my other did not sit unaided untill they wher around 7-8 months old i will se hao we get on offering some brocolli x
