Please let me know your favourite board books suitable for an 18 - 24 month year old. My LO loves books so want to top up his library this Christmas. If you know any toddler books with tough pages those would be good too, my LO tears out normal pages still.

William is older than you specified but he has a functioning age of 21-24 months as he is autistic so this is what he enjoys.

Dig, Dig, Digging. A great book and available in board book format now.
Dear Zoo and pretty much everything by that author. He also loves - Oh Dear, Our Jungle, My Presents, Dear Santa, It's Mine, I'm Hungry and Buster's Zoo all by Rod Campbell.
    This Mr Men book set:

He got it for his first Christmas and it has been so loved. The Mr Tickle book is wrecked from being read so much.
The Thomas and Friends series of board books - shapes, weather, numbers etc
    Peepo
    The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Where's Spot (or any Spot book really)
    Each Peach, Pear, Plum
    That's not my..... books
    Busy books like this:

They fall apart quickly though even when a child is gentle. Expect to be sticking them back together within a month. They are only £3 though and he loves them so they are worth it for us. They do a whole series of them.
These books of nursery rhymes are lovely as well

As are these fairy tale ones

Anything from Eric Carlse, Judy Donaldson does some lovely books and I believe they can be found in board books as well. Some of the Munsch books are in board book form as well. I love I will Love You Forever by Munsch, it made me cry the first time I read it.

I just wanted to add 'Orange, Pear, Apple, Bear' I find it annoying but William loved it.
