It's not due to eating...when I work late or am just up and about late in the evening, I have noticed the the bottom of my belly, right where the baby is, feels very heavy. It almost feels like I am suddenly aware of the weight of the baby, placenta, fluid, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this sensation? It's sort of strange...I'm not feeling kicks or anything along with it. Just the heavy feeling.

Yes I was just telling my headband tonight my god my belly feels so much heavier at night. I dont understand why though

I was just coming on here to search for threads like this.. I am feeling it right now!

Glad to know I'm not alone! I was afraid I was putting on weight and it was just settling there, or something.
I know babies are supposed to be most active between 9pm and 1am, so I wonder if that has something to do with it. But I'm definitely happy to know this is definitely pregnancy-related and I'm not imagining things.
Hopefully someone will have some insight!

Mine also feels much heavier in the evening and I feel so uncomfortable. I don't get to sit down much at work so I think it's prob my body saying, I think you should rest for a minute!

I think it may be just pressure. I was feeling kinda heavy down there the other week. I had a midwife app that day and she said he was head down. So I just put it down to that. Sometimes I just generally feel heavy though. Just putting it down to the extra weight of bump.

I have the exact same feeling after work everyday!! Came on here this morning to ask this same question. I figured it was just because I was on my feet so much but wanted some other insight to.

I've had this feeling on and off for few weeks it's really strange not sure what causes it though.

Xx
