is it safe to put izzy in her boucer for overnight sleeping she is full of cold and can breath thew her nose. what else can i do for her?

Can you prop her cot/crib etc up instead?

Also, do you have Karvol? You can put that on a muzzie in the room to help. It may also be worth turning the shower on and letting her have 5 mins in a steamy bathroom, it helps clear their airways a bit.

how do i tilt the cot? ill get some 2 morrow are them plugs any good i might get a olbas bath my self an sit her in the bathroom thanks

Have you got a Calpol nasal spray? I have found it works wonders with my wee man. I probably wouldn't use the bouncy chair for the whole night but it just depends what seat you have and if you reckon it would be comfy enough.

Hope she feels better soon :flow:

I tilt my LO's moses basket for her Reflux.

Just pop a packet of baby wipes under the back legs x

I (well a paramedic actually, hehe) used 2 travel guide books (about the thickness of an Argos book) under both of the legs at the top hun, it's just enough to help things drain a little.

I've had my LO in a bouncy chair all night with a cold. I barely slept though so I was always looking out for him.
I was on the sofa and he was right beside me. He was okay :)

cud i put a pillow under the matress as its a huge cot i cnt lift it

Yeah that would be ok too if it's not too thick, or a folded blanket. I used a folded blanket in the moses basket and carrycot under the mattresses.

You could put a pillow under her mattress to prop it up slightly. And tomorrow get a karvol plug in for her room, they're good xx

i will do i feel soo sorry 4 her shes ok when shes got her dummy tho :(

If ella has got a cold, we prop her cot end up on phonebooks to help drain the mucous, as well as giving her a shower before bedtime which clears the airways as well. We haven't tried Karvol but heard it does help.

ill admit ive had my LO in his bouncy for a lot of the night before. it was the only thing that settled him as a newborn and there was no way i was waking him up lol. he was absolutely fine! but this bouncer looked more comfortable than his crib lol. xx
