Hey ladies, just a question to those of you who have experienced looser bowels. I just wondered how many if youbthis happened to & is it really a sign labour isn't to far away? If so how far away was it for you? I've been constipated throughout my whole pregnancy. Not really bad, ive still bwen able to go just not very often & when I went it'd take hours lol & they were always hard & small! Like rabbit poo I said to my OH lol. Bit the last couple of days they have become a lot loser. Not runny or anything just softer & more frequent (sorry if tmi) and now I'm wondering if this could be a sign of things to come or again it could just be wishful thinking lol

Thanks for any replies
Laura x

not sure hun after my waters broke i was sick and pooed the typical clearout but not sure about in early labour? maybe it was something you ate?xx

I have been like this for the last 2 or 3 days, Im going at least 3 or 4 times a day which seems bloody excessive! Surely I should be losing weight lol

Yeah I've already been 3 times today! Which is really odd for ne as usually I'll only go the once! After about half & hour of straining!! Lol

I had diarrhea today and it's not came to anything but I've had loads d bowel movements through out my pregnancy never had a problem

I use to poo just fine but over the last 2 weeks i have been constipated. I go at least once a day but it is dry and takes too long sorry TMI. Last night i was awake trying to poo at 2:30am that must have taken me 30 min and had the tiniest poo.

I get painful cramping feeling in my bowel all the time and nothing comes out of it TMI, sorry but i am getting tired and tempted to do something to fix it. I eat roughage and take plain yogurt and nothing helps!

o rite thanx ladies, ive never had problems going throughout my pregnancy neither regular as clockwork :haha: x

I was constipated in first tri but not really sine... I think it sometimes feels like there isno room down there as babies r so low so when you have to go you have to go straight away! x

They say it can be a sign of labour being close BUT at the same time it could be something you ate. I didn't have a 'clear out' with DS until my waters had broke and I was getting mild but regular contractions

Think reading your posts over the last couple of days you've had quite a lot of stress so that could have something to do with it too.

I am only 30 weeks, but I have always been irregular going maybe 3 times a week!! The last week or so I have been going always once a day and much easier to pass. I am hoping it's nothing as is way too early, but it has only been since I was in hospital with leaking waters.

Ali, love your new pic x x

i has this for about a week and now it seems to have calmed down abit ... so dont think it was a 'sign' for me :-(
