Just wondering I'm 29 weeks preg and not had any form of Braxton Hicks.. I know i've got 10 weeks left before Peanuts here but do they not happen to every lady?
I just started getting them recently and I will be 37 weeks on Monday. This is my second child. I never got Braxton Hicks with my 1st pregnancy. So yes it is different for every woman.
I have to agree...feels really freaky...I was on the computer typing when my first one came and I was like what the crap. Felt like a spasm all over my belly.
i just got them last week its like my baby try to come out (straching) from my belly or its like pushing my bump from inside ...my bump get hard(some time its only one side or sometime its all my bump) ................i get them on and off not timming them ......
i was told at my nct ante natal class that every woman gets them but not every woman can feel them, if you have particulay good stomach muscles u probabley wont feel them but i dont think thats the only factor. x
i think for a first time pregnancy you pretty much don't really expect to feel anything, just going by experience, however subsequent pregnancies you tend to me more body aware. This is my third pregnancy and I've been feeling them since week 16. It typically feels like tightenings in the belly, most of the time they are painless but as you get bigger, they begin to get a little uncomfortable. Each person is different but if you don't experience them, i wouldn't worry as i definitely didn't feel anything with my first for sure.
