My belly gets really super tight and hard, but it's happening more and more frequently lately. It's also lasting for around 10 minutes. Are Braxton hicks supposed to last that long? It's uncomfortable for my belly to be that tight.

Are they painful? If not I wouldn't worry, but I'd still ask a doctor/midwife to make sure.
When I feel like my BH has lasted too long, I go empty my bladder then get a tall glass of water, and it usually helps.

Mine seem to last ages too. I get this period cramping 'thing' at the bottom of my bump. I don't time it or anything, but it seems like FOREVER. But over the past week or so they've gotten more painful. I would still only say maybe a 4/10, but still..
Definitely not looking forward to labour again lol.

They shouldn't last for long, as far as pain though, my water broke and after that all I felt were painless tightenings. Labor and delivery thought I was nuts when I said they didn't hurt, and I was 4 cm within an hour of arrival. They did get painful, but I would say ask your OB or MW.

Back when I was working, I had this, and it developed into a super irritable uterus which has landed me in L&D. I remember talking to a MW about the long tightenings and she said that's less concerning than regular tightenings.

Not sure why TBH. As long as they don't become regular or painful, you should be alright. But anytime you're worried, don't be afraid to talk to a MW or an OB. Mother knows best!! :)

my BH were evil would last ages and got very painful went on for weeks i still went 9 days over.

They're not painful necessarily, just very uncomfortable. Like when I walk it kinda feels like I'm stretching my insides with each step.
