Braxton Hicks?

With my first I never experienced BH, so I am wondering if what I am feeling is just that.

It feels like random and brief mostly very mild period cramps. They are uncomfortable at best and easily ignored. A few times they have been sharp, but still mild period cramp feeling.

Braxton hicks for me are just when my tummy goes really hard for a few seconds or up to a minute. There's never any pain but sometimes they're a little bit uncomfortable

For me, my menstrual-like cramping and BH are totally different. The BHs include the tightening of the abdomen and are a little uncomfortable to mildly painful. The cramps feel more like hot pain lower down.
