I've finally worked out that Alice will eat breakfast, but just not before 10 am! This is fine if we're in the house, but we've usually gone out by that time. Now she's older, I don't want to let her skip a meal, so does anyone have any suggestions of good portable breakfast foods that she could ideally eat in her pushchair/sitting on my lap (not too messy!)?

Sandwiches :) My fav food for going out. Not messy, doesnt need heating & very easy to prepare.

omelet tortilla wraps!

Make a one egg omelet (flipped into a half moon), place into a small flour tortilla (fajita sized) with some cheese. Fold the wrap in half and nuke the whole thing in the microwave for 20-30 seconds so the cheese bonds the tortilla and egg and keeps it all held together.

Thank you! I'd not thought about sandwiches for breakfast - no idea why! And that omelette idea sounds great. I might give it a go today.

Low sugar or sugar free muffins? Big batch in the freezer, take out the night before or even when you get up in the morning, will be ready to eat by breakfast time.
Or smoothie pouches?

Mmm, muffins! There's an idea. A nice mid morning snack for me too!
