How do I combine the 2?

When is best to pump?

I just want to put some away in the freezer for the odd occasion. For example I do a course on a Monday night and although it's only for 2 hours I daren't leave dh with nothing to feed baby just incase!

If I'm pumping to get extra, i usually just pump for five minutes right after a feed. I find that pumping after a night feed (between 1&4) i can get the most milk out. If I'm feeding a bottle, i pump between 15-20 minutes. I try to pump around the same time every day, because my supply is higher now around the times i usually pump at.

How old is LO?

You could try 5min after feeding, or pumping one side while LO feeds the other. If neither of those work you could introduce one session daily after one of LO's feeds. Early morning is the best time for many women. You won't get much at first but stick with it and you'll start to get more.
