I stumble across this doll, not sure how if i'd get her this Doll but i know if i asked my little girl How she Feeds her baby and she took the Doll to her Breast i'd be happy that Breastfeeding is natural/normal to her.

So would you let your daughter own this doll?

I think its great encouragement for young kids to breast feed when they grow up. however i think its abit wrong a child holding a doll to its breast whilest the doll made slurping noises. x

I think its a bit OTT!!
obviously its all natural to breast feed but I dont think there is any need for a child to learn and definatly not practise this until she is older!!
I mean sex is natural but we dont really tell them how babies are made or anything do we.

I think its just a lil too far and children should be left to be children while they can cos god knows they grow up fast enough as it is!!!

There's something weird about it. I don't know. I definitely wouldn't buy it.

But it reminds me, when my brother was really young he used to pretend to breastfeed a little stuffed tiger. LOL.

Blimey! Im not sure really, Feel kinda on the fence about this one.. I mean its great that breastfeeding is being shed in a positive light but then again i personally find it a little weird to aim this product at such young girls.. I dunno, I cant quite make up my mind lol, but no i dont think i'd buy this for my little girl

the name :haha: 'baby gluttonous' too weird! takes the fantasy/idealised side out of it which is what makes pretend play so fun for kids, I don't think I would buy it

I find it really quite odd.

I mean I would support if my daughter wanted to breastfeed, but I would hope at the age of having that doll that becoming pregnant would be the last thing on her mind!

I'm just a bit creeped out by that if I'm honest!

i'm going to have to go with no on this one. If my daughter chose not to breastfeed in her future thats her choice and i totally support it. I dont think getting her a doll would have encouraged her or not. And it's just very weird and awkward to me

I don't know. Little girls play with dolls because they like playing "mommy" so I really don't think anything is wrong with this doll. I don't think it's encouraging young girls to become young mothers anymore than any other doll...and I honestly think that it's a good thing that this doll is encouraging breastfeeding opposed to other dolls that encourage bottle/formula feeding. xx

i would not have a problem with my daughter breastfeeding her doll but im not a fan of her strapping on boobs lol

Oh dear. Yeah, that would be a problem. Children already grow up fast enough these days. I don't need my little girl walking around the house w/strap-on boobs! I don't think her dad would approve of that either lol.:nope:

oh if my DH saw emma with strap on boobs he'd kill me! i'd NEVER hear the end of it!:dohh:

I think they have the makers have their hearts in the right places, but I don't think you should draw attention to such blatant sexuality to young girls. Its a bit early IMHO.

DD2 asked for it but we couldn't get a hold of it. Tbh she always held her dolls to her chest when she was wee anyway, this is really just a breastfeeding version of those freaky dolls that look like they're gulping down their bottles. I don't see anything sexual about it whatsoever.
Baby expressions etc freak me out but my kids loved them. Give me a sweet ordinary baby doll any day that takes no batteries.

oh it comes with strap ons?... oh dearrr

It comes with a little apron with flowers on it at the chest to activate the doll to feed. It's not like a Robert Deniro meet the fockers fake tit or anything

*crashing* I think it's a bid odd, just the strapping on breast part, not the play breast feeding. I clearly remember playing with my dolls and 'breastfeeding' them. That's what I witnessed, my mother feeding my 4 siblings, so it just was natural for me to do that. I imagine my daughters will play breast feed. So while the execution of the doll is weird, there's nothing wrong with a little girl imitating mommy and breast feeding her dolls.
