Hi,
I've been for a kidney appointment this morning and the outcome is i have to have a renogram because they think i have an obstruction to one of my kidneys. Now I know because the inject radioactive dye into you, you cant be around small children for i think about 24hrs after. The consultant I saw this morning seems to think that i wont be able to breastfeed for about a week after it
I'm seriously gutted right now, have to ask for full advice at radiology when i go and he couldn't tell me for definite nor can i find a definite answer online. Does anyone have any idea?
Appointment is in 3-4wks so i'll need to start expressing how many times a day should i express. Constance is still solely breastfed and has never taken a bottle
I'm thinking i'm going to have to end up giving her some formula if i cant feed for a week and during that week i'll have to pump and dump it. I'm totally devastated at the thought this could do some serious damage to me carrying on feeding 
Edited to mention the doctor said its ok because you'll have been feeding for 4mths anyway grrr!!
