Breastfeeding and no period?

hi there, my LO is 4 months now and i have not had a period yet, we have been carefull but not that carefull if you know what i mean When did you get your period back whlie bfing?

I got mine at 4 months but to be honest I was expecting it a lot sooner as I don't feed through the night and I give formula as the last feed of the day.

Mine returned at 10.5 months

DS 1- 5 months (was combi feeding on and off and gave solids from 17 weeks)
DS 2- 10 months (was EBF until 6 months aside from a couple of jars he wasn't remotely interested in and he only had BM to drink until he was quite a bit older)
DS 3- had a period like bleed at 6 weeks but think it was just resuming of lochia, after that my period only came back at 10 months again despite me stopping BF him completely at 5.5

DS 4- not yet and no sign of it xx

I got mine at 8 wks! And I only use formula about 4 times a week just to fill little ones belly. She never has more than 3oz so I can't believe I've hot mine so soon! It is honestly the worst one I've ever had!

I've not had one yet, and Jessica is 8.5months.......long may it continue lol

10 months and after that they were irregular, like every 2 months until I stopped breastfeeding

Thanks every one!! that makes me feel better!! toworrow is the day a year ago i got my BFP and even tho i loved seening that BFP last year i don't think im ready to see it again any time soon. xxx

Nothing here yet either! Expected it back when we started on solids, especially now on 3 meals a day but then again my little man hasn't started feeding less so I guess I have some time yet! x

my lo is 3 months and we still havent got mine but.. we have been careful but no so careful as well and now im not well im starting to worry lol... may have to do a test for peac of mind sooner or later and get some contraception happening soon :/

yes im the same last week is was getting waves of feeling sick and started to worry but a few of my friends have this now so guess its the flu that is going around as i feel fine now. don't want to do a test for some silly resason but when we were trying i was like doing tests every 2nd day

thats the exact same reason i havent tested yet lol i think ive spent soooooooooooooooooooooo much $ on tests when TTC that ill happily wait another month!

i wonder if anyone on here has 10 months between thier childrn....

Ive had over 2 years off,got my bfp august 2009,havent had a period since then!

8 months with my son and 3 months with my daughter, both were exclusively breastfed. I feel a bit cheated that I didn't get longer!
