hi all i just need some advice. i bf'd my dd when she was born and she only took the boob, dh had to feed her with a medicine dropper when i was at work becuz she refused the bottle. i pumped for her and he basically had to force it into her. luckily i only worked 4 hour shifts at the time but it was stressful for us until she was old enough to start solids. for ds i wanted to avoid that problem and i wanted to sleep more than i did with dd (she woke up all of the time) so we gave him expressed bottles at night. that got him hooked on the bottle and he refused the boob so i pumped for him until my milk dried up at 6 months then we used formula.
anyways when this baby is born i can't take much time off from school and the classes are 4 hours long. the most i can take off is a week. what bottle would you guys reccomend using for when i am at school? i've heard tommee tippee is good has anyone tried that? i don't want the baby to get nipple confusion and i don't want to have what happend with ds happen again. does anyone have advice?

I used medela slow flow bottles, and my baby never had an issue with those, but i think the flow (slow) is the most important thing, not the bottle.
I personally started giving bottles early, I mean when my babies were 15 days, and they (3) got used to both.( my younger baby was bottle fed in the hospital, because I had surgery and was on strong pain meds)
I think every baby is different, but if you "teach" them with lots of patience, they will learn to switch from one to another :)
