Breastfeeding time journal

So my MW suggested we keep a time log of when I nursed Brennan when he was born. My DH just found it and brought it to me, and I thought I would post it, so I could share how often a newborn feeds so many of you ladies starting out would not feel down about their LO feeding so much.

Brennan was born on the morning of the 22nd of May, and he went to the breast as soon as he was brought to me from the nursery. I had to have a c-section, and since they thought an infection was involved in my deliver problems he was taken to the nursery. He was back with me within an hour, fine as could be and went right on the boob. My DH started keeping track on the evening of the 23rd.

Time of nursing, which breast and length of time

5pm right side 40 minutes
5:45 pm Left 25 minutes
7 pm right 25 mins
7:30 Left 10 mins
925 pm right 20 mins
950 pm lef 20 mins
11pm right 15 mins
1145 left 25 mins
