I am 13 weeks pregnant, I have been having on and off breathing difficulties for the past 3 days it comes and goes but today its been non-stop my nasal area feels weird so im thinking maybe sinus? it feels like my nose if stuffy but its not,its really annoying because I pay attention to every breath of air i take its driving me crazy, of course i call the doctors and they told me to go to the ER but i cant go right now I have to pick my fiance up from work in a hour and he has no other ride. Does anyone have any Ideas to what it maybe?? and could I just go to a simple walk in place? im not turning blue or anything lol

I am having the same problem, Nasel congestion off and on where its difficult to breath. Mainly at night when im trying to sleep. Im just trying to wait it off, hopefully it goes away soon cause its really irritating, espeically causei have a cough too.

Yeah I have coughed a couple times in the past few days to help catch my breath , I been sneezing for the past few months and blowing my nose i know thats a part of pregnancy but, I am not quite sure what it is (breathing) I really am trying to wait it out to I don't want to spend 7+ hours in the ER if I definitely cant breathe at all Ill go

I feel the same, I can breath may not be the best at times but it will go away. I have been sneezing a lot too. it must just be a pregnancy cold thing we have.

yeah im glad I found someone else whos going threw the same thing :) Makes me a little less nervous, I hope you feel better!

Im glad to! Im just drinking hot lemon water and trying to take hot showers, not too long but long enough before bed to clear my nose. It helps me fall asleep and breath better throughout the night. I also found that sleeping on my right side allows me to breath better to!? I have no idea why lol

I been sleeping on my left side cause I don't like facing in on the bed lol im weird, do u think a humidifier or vaporize would help??

You know i have been wondering the same thing. I dont think that it could hurt. Im used to sleeping with a fan blowing on my face all night and i find that the fan makes me cough bad. So i was thi nking about switching to a humidifier. I just noticed your DD is 6 days before mine! Thats so cool, we are actually pretty close. I go in for my Downs screening tests today the ultrasound and bloodwork. Did you do thiss??

yeah i might try the humidifier tonight see how that works , I opted not to do the screenings, not really a risk in my family or my fiances. goodluck! :)

Could it possibly be a change in the weather where you live? Or maybe a sinus infection?

Yeah its been getting pretty cold here lately , it feels like sinus then again i haven't had a sinus infection in 7 years so I cant remember what its like

I feel like mine is going to be a sinus infection. ehhhhh. My DH and i are not at high risk either, i just felt like it doesnt hurt anything. I just cant wait to see my little baby :)
