breech at 34+4 weeks, anyone else?

Hiya
found out today that bubba is breech. they are checking again in 2 weeks and will scan me if he/she is still in that position.
Just wondered if anyone else is breech or has been and baby has turned in time for birth??
also does anyone know what will happen if he dosnt turn? will i definatley need a c-section? i cant stop thinking about it as baby has been head down until now so im pretty shocked.

My baby is currently transverse... BUT, I have a scheduled c-section, so it doesn't matter what position she is in... I have seen other posts where baby was breech almost right up to the due date... so it happens. There is certainly still time for baby to move. Long as they have room to wriggle, they can change positions. I believe there are some things you can do to "encourage" baby to move back down into position. I've heard getting down on all fours and swaying back and forth? Sorry- I'm not certain what else you can do... but I bet you could find some advise online or ask your doc/MW?

There should be some other non-evasive things to be done. Just stay positive and tell yourself baby will move... or, tell baby! hehe. Fingers crossed for you hun

Mine was breech right up until my 34 week apt when it decided to turn the night before! I was told that if it was still breech at 36 weeks they would scan me and see if it's possible to try and manually turn the baby but I said I wouldn't want to do that, it's very stressful for baby apparently. So the only other option was c-section. Youdo not HAVE to have a section, she said they can't force me but a breech vaginal birth is a lot riskier than a section and you'll prob end up having an emergency section anyway!

Get on your hands and knees and wiggle your bum from side to side and hopefully baby will turn naturally
