What color were your bridesmaids dresses?


I really LOVE the look of royal blue, and I think it stands out really well in photos, but its seems too common.

My other idea would be to go with my favorite color, purple, but they don't stand out as well.

My bridesmaids are having black dresses with a fuschia coloured sash (sp?) I can't post a pic at the mo as I'm on my phone

I love royal blue I also love baby blue kinda like icy blue

I'm not a fan of lilac/purple or reds just because I've never liked those colours although I was a bridesmaid last year and our dresses were lilac and they were lovely

i originally planned to have royal blue for my bridemaids...i've now gone for ice blue!

Though i do really like royal blue, i think OH suits ice blue better and i want him matching my bridemaids for the photos!!

Yeah the cadburry purple is the purple shade I would go with. My room is painted that color, and my laptop is that color haha.

I got married 2 weeks ago and i had royal blue bridesmaids, everyone commented on how amazing the colour etc was !

turquoise for my older girls then my little flowergirl is ivory with turquoise sash round the waist

We're doing vintage style and the colours are champagne and dusky pink (although the dusky pink will only be in the lacey ribbon on the stationery and some of the roses), the bridesmaids dresses and mens crovats will be in the champagne colour

Were having sage green and my flower girl will wear an ivory/white dress with sage green sash. I haven't chosen any dresses yet though!

Mine are Royal Blue!!!! When I went to choose my venue dressing I fell in love with a royal blue/white colour scheme. The blue looks so bold and fresh and it really stands out next to the white on photos!!

mine are apple red from davids bridal, i have a pic in my journal, but it isn't very clear, i'll post it though =) if we weren't going for red, i think we would've ended up using some sort of blue or purple i think, but red is sooo perfect for our wedding

You would be surprised at how meany people are going for royal blue at the moment. I make the 3D butterflies and sell them and i have had so meany people asking for royal blue and white or royal blue and ivory. It must be the in colour at the moment

either the royal blue or cadbury purple seem to be everywhere at the moment
