Brown discharge, no period.. what the heck

Ok, so.. period was due today. Had brown spotting yesterday. I do that from time to time, but ALWAYS the next day, I either start a light period with red blood or go right on into a normal flow. But today I have just enough brown discharge to wear a panty liner. And.. get this... I have had absolutely NO period symptoms! For probably the first time since I started having my periods. No sore boobs, which are usually REALLY sore a couple of days before AF, no cramping whatsoever, which I'm usually in horrible pain a day or two before AF. BFN's from 9 dpo to yesterday, 12 dpo, too.
Now, I read an article that said 10% of women can implant as late as the first day of their period. AND I'm sure all of you have read the horror stories about no BFP's until waaaaay after you should get one... Am I one of these lucky few?? Any insight would be lovely.

I am going through the same problem! My period is 12 days late, I had brown spotting the day before when AF suppose to due. Usually the next day or two after the brown spotting my period would start, but this time my period never came.

I tested 3 times with Clearblue all showed up negative. And then I started to have some cramping these 2 days, especially last night I almost had very light cramp throughout my sleep, so I thought okay it's gonna be AF, but AF is still not showing up.... and now the cramp goes away, I am not feeling anything again. I wonder what's going on
