bruise on back

just wondering if anyone's had this. i've got a big bruise on my back, sort of where my ribs end, maybe just a bit above. at the front is where katie is, and quite often moves round, but i dont get how she could bruise me thru my ribs. its really painful and driving me mad when i'm sat down or lying down

I doubt LO has caused the bruise. There's to many layers to cause a bruise from the inside. Are you sure you haven't knocked yourself at all? It's easier to bruise during pregnancy.

Not sure about this. I developed some slight bruising actually on my bump, apparently where the pressure caused some little blood vessels to burst, but don't think that could happen on your back.
Hope it's not too painful, and it goes away soon.
