Hi all just a quick update - I went back for another scan yesterday to check on the progress of the 2 follies and they were both at 20.5mm...my gynae described them as 'beauties'!! so he gave me a trigger shot and said we should bd today. Im feeling quite optimistic but dont want to get my hopes up...

hey even i took my hcg shot yesterday... so when will you o are you using opk's.. i don't use opk nor i temp so when is my ovultion day???

hi piya... i had my scan today and my folly is 19 mm and its ready so i took my hcg shot today. so will bd today tomorrow and dayafter. and he called me on Monday evening i don't know y??? do you know why he must have called me??? is it possible to detect pregnancy so early in a tv scan??? because i feel it is for scan only.
so if i took my hcg shot today then when is my 1dpo??? please help honey...

Well I have been using opks - all negative up to yesterday but when I went in for my scan he gave me a trigger shot and said I shouldnt use an opk today as it would definitely test positive because of the shot...I dont actually know what the shot was, could it have been LH? He said I should o the next day... I guess we should bd over thenext few days to cover our bases!

M on CD11, i normally ovulate late 15-17 day of cycle
doc told me to wait till CD15 then have HCG if required... HCG also give positive opk and hpt both.. so ur doc advised not to use them.. good luck dear for bding..

Hey ladies just checking in. Got my scan done. Clomid round 1 unsuccessful. I didn't even have one follicle! Im kinda bummed dh is too. I'll be absent for a while...just not enthusiastic right now.

Lilyannabella, sorry the first round didnt work for you hon, so disappointing but try not to get too disheartened... it is likely they just need to find the right dose for your body... did your doctor suggest increasing the dosage for next round? Or are you thinking of taking a break? All I will say is Ive heard a lot of ladies whom 50mg didnt work for go on to get their bfps in their first month at a higher dose..

Well my doctor here said I should up it to 100mg next cycle but I also spoke to my gyn back home and she reminded me that she gave me 100mg clomid years ago cd2-6 and I didn't get a period on my own until 3 months later which means i didn't ovulate when I was supposed to.

Maybe you could discuss other options with your doc but I do know for some ladies the magic number is 150mg... you will get your bfp just try to stay positive its like an emotional rollercoaster just dont give up.

hi piya m very very happy for you that you have follies.. so good luck.. and yes its typing error my stupid galaxy phone... so m cd 12 today hurray...... on cd 16 will be going to my gyno again.. i think may be because of progesteron injection... fx for everybody... hope we get our bfp soon....

Haven't posted in a while.. (or maybe a completely different Clomid thread haha! Ahhh hormones!).

I finished my first round of Clomid - 100mg - on Tuesday, days 3-7. I had to do the whole Provera and Clomid ordeal as I don't have regular period (PCOS ruled out).

Now I am on CD 9. My CBFM is reading "high" fertility..but I am not going to start the OPKs until Saturday as I have read that Clomid can cause false positives if OPKs are done shortly after taking the med.


I have had my real first Clomid-rage today. All I have to say is poor husband. Haha!

Does clomid really delay ovulation? My clinic told me to use opk's on Day 11, 12, 13. I'm going back in on Day 14 if I haven't had a + opk by then.
