Have a lot of questions so bear with me..:haha:

I'm thinking about getting one of these for Amelia but i'm not sure.

At what age can they start using a bumbo?
Is it really worth getting one? and
Where's the best place to get one.

Thanks :flower:

Babies who can hold their head up can use them. Usually after 3 months at least. They are really great. It's so portable so you can sit outside with your little one on your deck when you have company or take it anywhere. As for where to get them, you can get some gently used ones for cheap. It depends on where you live.

I think that 4 months is the recommended age but we used ours from about 3.5 months as Abi has good head control, I personally think they're worth it as she loves it but I know some peoples LO's on here aren't keen, we only paid £5 for ours secondhand as I didn't think it was worth £30 for one.
I use it for everything, Abi sits in hers in the bathroom when I have a shower or in the garden when I'm hanging out the washing, they're soo handy!

Thanks for the replies girls :) I think I'll try to get one second hand because i've heard that they're not in them that lot. Amelia has really good head control at the moment but don't think she's quite ready yet, probably wait another month. 2 months on Monday can't believe how quickly it's gone!

I bought Poppy one a few days ago.. she is three months old but can totally support her head already. She does like being in her bumbo, but only for a short while at the moment. In the leaflet I got with my bumbo it says they are for use between ages 3/4 months and 18 months, although i cant imagine Poppy fitting in it for that long..... her little chubby bum seems a bit squashed already :haha:

I do think it's worth getting one; of course your LO might not like it though  but they are good if your LO likes to sit up and have a good nosey around the room. Also they can double up as a "high chair"/way of feeding etc etc

There are loads of second hand ones on ebay but i got mine last week from mothercare ...... they are £29.99 (with tray) there at the moment. x

Haha lmao, she loves looking around at things if she's sat on my lap that's one reason why I was thinking of getting one and because of the option of using it as a high chair. £29.99 with a tray thats brilliant! Might have a look on ebay see if I can pick up a bargain

I got them for the boys total waste of money!!!! Fynnn doesnt like sitting straight he is a lay on the floor and wiggler and sam just kept trying to stand up in it. I perservered but Sam got stuck in it last week so they both went on ebay (the bumbos not the chunky boys lol) seriously though there is no way they would last until 18 months if your LO is anywhere near as chunky as mine xxx

I have one that I got at my baby shower for Haley and I started putting her in it this past week (she's 8 wks old) and LOVES to chill and watch tv in it lol She puts her lil arm up on the side of it and chills watching cartoons lol But when she's not relaxing in it she will sit up and look around and just giggles at the everything:flower: (I put a blanket in it first though bc with the air conditioning on in the house the material its made of can get pretty cold)

I picked one up second hand for £3 and it looks new! My nephew would sit in his all day if he had the chance lol, but i know some babies might not like them so if you can pick up a bargain then go for it :)

My LO loves her bumbo. She is 9 weeks on tuesday and can hold her head well already so weve tried it out a couple of times over the past week and she sits in it as happy as larry! Going to out the tray on it too so she can have her toys in front of her. Agree with the others that it is very handy as you can move it to wherever you are so very handy when you have things to do around the house!

i got mine from kiddicare.com. my little girl loves it shes never been one for laying down she like to sit up all the time. and as its imposible to hold her all day its gr8 to just be able 2 place her down and shes happy and safe sitting up. she was 4 months when we got ours. i would recomend getting the tray with it she loves playing with toys on the tray.

Waste of money for me, Lucas hates it but all babies are different x

I got mine from Mothercare to hun, as you can see from my pic he likes it

Seen a few on ebay, but might see if I can get one local probs a better idea.

Anna was in hers around 12 wks.

She has been in it a few times but I wouldnt spend the money on one - it was a gift.

She has probably been in it less than 10 times.

I put her in it the other day ( at 7.5 months) and her feet touch the floor so she can push herself off the ground with her feet and tip it over - so I cant put her in it for a minute now!! :flower:

I think our LO was about 3 months, tbh i dont use it as much as i thought i would but thats mainly because she loves her jumperoo so much :)
Got it from Kiddicare

I was maybe thinking about getting her a jumperoo for christmas, when can they start using them? (sorry bout all the questions) lol.
