I'm so uncomfortable with this! I have had it for a few weeks, but this last week it has got almost unbearable!

My ribs feel completely bruised (which I can understand as this baby keeps twanging my ribs with her feet / knees) but what I can't understand is the pain I have at the top of my uterus, right under my boobs!

I hate wearing a bra, I literally have to rip my bra off as soon as I get home and I don't wear one at all in the house!

If I feel the top of my uterus, the skin is SO sensitive! It feels like it is on fire, or like someone has 'chinese burned' my skin! This is the main reason for hating my bra at the moment.

Does anyone else have this?

I'm so uncomfortable and wondered if anyone has had this and can offer any advice for relief?

Thanks ladies!

I'm so glad i'm not the only one (not in a horrible way i feel so sorry for you!)
No-one has posted on this before and i've been suffering the EXACT same feeling like chinese burn lol, yesterday i undid my bra when i left work and fastened my coat up lol as i couldn't stand the pressure. My bra fits and everything so i just don't understand lol x x

P.S The only relief i get is taking my bra off but even then it's still really tender and sore to touch, a warm bath eases it slightly x x

Me too, i know how you feel its horrible!
xxx

I've had this, taking my bra off is the only answer - although the head's started to engage now and it's a bit better. I still have sore ribs, but the burning pain's gone.

I have this too. Just on the right hand side. My skin doesn't feel like it belongs to me.

Mine's mainly the right hand side too xx

Mine started just on the right but is now all the way across

I have this, my Midwife says its just everything pushing upwards, apparently its called 'ribflare' or something like that! Midwife showed my some exercises to help it which basically is standing up and reaching upwards with your hand, each time you reach a little higher and a little higher etc (Slowly :)) For quick relief sometimes just sticking my arm / arms in the air helps lol!! Sitting on or leaning on my birthing ball also helps, and having a bath.

It really is horrible - so painful!!

I posted about this about a week ago, and for temporary relief, I lift my arm up over my head and stretch out my mid torso. This lengthens your belly area so the uterus isn't pushing up as much. Try it - it feels soooo good! Also, I tend to put anything cold on my skin to stop the burning...yesterday I put my mobile phone on the burning spot and it honestly feels so relieving. lol. I must sound stupid, but when you're in that much pain, you're willing to do anything to get some relief. Hope you feel better soon hun. x

Check my thread for more advice: https://www.babyandbump.com/pregnan...ain-under-my-left-rib-getting-unbearable.html

Edit: haha! I just realised you answered my thread too!

Lol kamkol!

I knew I had seen something recently but couldn't find it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering (not to wish it on anyone, just makes it less worrying that it's something abnormal!)

think I'll try a bath

I have SPD so will have to wait for DH to get home to help me in and out though! Lol how glamorous!

I also sit watching tv in an evening with my arms above my head!

The things we go through!!

Xxx

It's a nightmare. I had it sooo bad early morn I was almost in tears. It's just on my left side (where baby's feet are I think!) I find it bad when waking after lying on left side for hours and I know exactly what u mean about top of bump. I have to release my bra fter a few hrs - whereva I am. Have 2 keep check it's not hanging round my neck from time 2 tme. LOL! Oh the joys.....!!!
