C section booked. This time next week I will be a Mummy

I'm so excited I have to go in Friday morning and they should deliver her in the morning depending on emergencies.

I must admit having spent the last few months preparing myself for labour, it's nice to know I don't have to go through it all. I do appreciate that a c section is not the easy option though.

wow goodluck honey, you will get to meet your baby before i meet mine even though i am over a week ahead, very jealous lol. I hope all goes okay and you are holding your baby in your arms very soon xx

you must be so excited!! can i be nosey and ask why you're having a section? i'm just curious as i may have to have one too x

Of course you can hun! I need to have one because of problems I've had with my lungs in the past and suspected fractured ribs during the pregnancy so they've decided my body can't cope with the labour. Did you want to have one or are you being forced?

well my baby is currently footling breech but im having an ecv on wednesday to try and turn him (chances of it working for me are very low though so will more than likely have to have a c-section as vaginal footling breech births are the most dangerous because of the cord)

It is, but I lost a bit of my plug yesterday and have been feeling crampy on and off since. I'm just hoping this little one hangs in there til Friday, as I'd much rather have a planned section than an emergency one - eek!
