Sorry for the volume of pics and posts. Just figured the best way of decideing what nozzles to get is to have real examples of what you can do with each one xxx

Your cupcakes are AMAZING KittyVentura!!!!!!
Thanks so much for the pics!!! LOVE the two tone roses, they are gorgeous! I did some earlier and my icing bag split over them, wasnt happy  xxx

I don't want to hijack, but Kitty, how do you get the swirl to look so perfect in pictures 4 & 5? I have the 1M and have a hard time...is there a specific technique you use? Do you start on the outside of the cake, or inside? Help! :D

4 & 5 in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd post love? lol xx

For a swirl you start from the outside and work in and for a rose you start from the inside and work out :)

Kitty, how do you make the little roses. I tried and failed haha

I make like a small sausage with sugarpaste and flatten it a bit with my fingers and taper it at the end. Then starting at the fat end I just roll it up and then cut off the bottom xx

lol sorry, in the second post! :haha:

Both of those love were starting in the middle and working slowly outside. I hold the bag completely vertical as well. No slant etc on it. Hope that helps. I love your cakes!! xx

Thanks kitty! Def need some practising though! What piping bags would you recommend? Using sandwich bags is driving me insane  xx

These are the ones I use love -

WIth that inner circle on the rose you want to hold it directly vertical, squeeze some out without moving and as you do that first tight circle cut into the middle bit as ou overlap. When you've done the centre bud lift the bag up sligthly, stop cutting in and apply a bit more pressure as you do the outer swirl. All of that in one movement lol. That's the tecnique I use. The more pressure in the outer swirl will give you a frillier and more open rose. xxx

Thanks!
That was the technique i was going for but i didnt want to squeeze the bag too hard because they split so easily! Off to buy those bags you suggested!!! :) xxx

Kitty, I vote you do some youtube tutorials....:haha:
